No More Wimpy Light!

Yesterday was quite the busy day. Sure glad we had  gorgeous weather to do all we needed to get done!

Bill took me out to dinner for my birthday Friday. Afterward, we went to Lowe's to pick up some stuff. One of the things we picked up was a light fixture for our breakfast nook. The one we had there before was pretty ugly, and gave out pretty much zero light.

Pretty wimpy don't ya think?

Please ignore the mess in the background. That is our Pipe and Slippers room, and it is still in the process...

But, anyway, you can see the ugly wimpy light in the breakfast nook.

We knew when we took this down, there would more than likely have some issue. Since we have the popcorn ceiling, I figured there would be no pop corn left. Instead it was just discolored. I'm sure glad we got this medallion to put on this area.

It was on clearance too, so the price was right!

I love it!

And....

It gives off quite a bit of light!
